During our visit last month with Victor Athletics, we followed their recommendation and made our way down to Cincinnati’s best new men’s boutique: Article Menswear.
Imagine you could cull through the innumerous menswear brands out there, select only the 30 or so with the best quality products within the non-luxury price point, then take it a step further by curating those brands down to the most iconic, classic, and/or unique pieces.

Opening just two years ago on the corner of 12th and Vine in the Over the Rhine district in Cincinnati, OH, Article has already established itself as a destination menswear shop. From Donegal sweaters to dog collars to leather goods and beard oil, Article provides a far superior shopping experience to wandering around the back of yet another retail chain.
In their own words, “Your grandfather didn’t have to consider quality. Unfortunately, in today’s disposable culture, you don’t have that luxury.” In response to a market saturated with here-today-gone-tomorrow trends (and oftentimes the garments themselves), Article has chosen to stock items focused on style and durability to last. Just like grandpa.
Not only does the merchandise (the majority of which is made in the US) hit all the right notes, the design and layout of the store itself is on point—equal parts stylish and masculine with just the right amount of whimsy. Oh, and there’s a Ducati.
As one customer sums up nicely (via Yelp): “If it’s manly and you want it, they have it.”
